Developer Terms
Version 2026-09-30 · Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms apply when you turn on a PicSeeds webhook or use the PicSeeds API ("developer features"). Developer features send Threads content that PicSeeds finds for you — mentions of your brands and public posts that match your keywords — to systems you choose, and let those systems reply through PicSeeds. The content comes from Meta's Threads platform, so Meta's rules travel with it. By turning a developer feature on, you agree to these terms in addition to our Privacy Policy.
1. Your instructions, your endpoint
- We only send data to the URL you configure. You are responsible for that endpoint, for keeping your signing secret and API keys private, and for everything that happens to the data after it arrives.
- If you forward the data to another service (for example Zapier, Make, Google Sheets, a chat app or your own database), you must make sure that service is bound by terms at least as protective as these.
2. What you may do
Use the data to read, triage and respond to conversations about your brand and your keywords — for example routing posts to your team, flagging abuse such as phishing links, or replying with your own AI or your own words.
3. What you may not do
- No profiles or lists of people. Do not use the data to build or enrich profiles of individuals, including lead lists or contact databases made from the authors of posts.
- No surveillance. Do not use the data to monitor or track specific people.
- No selling or sharing for others' use. Do not sell, license, rent or otherwise transfer the data, or give it to anyone for purposes other than the ones you direct.
- No spam. Do not send unsolicited, repetitive or very high-frequency replies. PicSeeds enforces daily reply limits, spacing between replies, repeated-text limits and a per-author limit for replies to keyword posts; do not try to get around them.
- Follow Meta's rules. You must also comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies as they apply to the Threads content you receive.
4. Keep only what you need
- Delete the data once you no longer need it for the purpose you received it for, and whenever PicSeeds, Meta or the person who posted it asks you to.
- Image and video URLs in the data are signed by Meta and expire within days. If you need a file, download it when you receive it.
5. Delivery and changes
- Webhooks are sent once and are not retried. Any 2xx or 3xx response counts as delivered; redirects are not followed. After repeated failed deliveries we turn the webhook off and let you know.
- Some post fields (such as quoted posts, reply chains and media) are not documented by Meta and may disappear without notice; when they are unavailable we send the basic fields instead.
- We may change these terms, and we may suspend developer features for an account that breaks them. We will show the current version on this page.
